New Action/Shooter Theme Song @Soundcloud

Ravaged

Ravaged is a video game for PC by 2Dawn Games, unreleased currently, and GEAR UP is my entry for their Theme Song contest. The game is a post-apocalyptic multiplayer FPS so I attempted to create a gritty barren landscape with just a hint of hope, as your mission in the game is to defeat some savage opposition at the end of the world.

As for the track itself, it’s been worked into a healthier existence from an old demo called Combi…and just kind of seemed like the right fit for this type of project. Lemme know what you think about it, as always, I love to hear feedback!

New Theme Track for “Bleak” Game Mod!

I’m glad you’re here.

This track is called “Alone” and is meant to exude that very feeling! The Game Designer for our Mod Team is really on the ball…and sent me a few ideas he’d already composed for themes, ambience, and other soundscapes. So, “Alone” is actually his title and original idea. I just tweaked it, used some new synthesis/instrumentation, and tried to sculpt something that would be great for a title screen/loop.

At the time of writing, I wasn’t sure what the end use would be, and the game is incorporating surreal/paranormal elements and disturbing enemies. So, a little bit of that creepiness and fear of the unknown is in there too, with just a hint of hope in the melody. Enjoy, and lend me some feedback please!

Recent stuff from Dieguis Productions‘ project I’m working on now is uploaded on the Mind|over|Matter Soundcloud page and displayed here on the Projects page! Take a listen, leave me some feedback telling me how wonderfully masterful it is, and then perhaps a little knock on the head to remind me to humble. 🙂

Seriously though, I’m really pleased with how the project is going, and though these aren’t the final products by any means, I’ve been itching to get some up for listening and comments. So please do!
